Start with your child’s age and interests

Choose a local age group before deciding on a discipline. All three academies offer children’s martial arts for ages 4–8 and kids’ martial arts for ages 9–12. Confirm the appropriate introduction with your local team.

Meet the people who will teach

Review the instructor page and the academy’s local team. Ask who supervises the introductory session, how instructions are adapted and how the group practices cooperation and control.

Ask about the everyday class

Competition footage shows one part of martial arts. Ask the academy what a regular beginner session involves, how contact is managed, and what progression looks like for your child.

Plan a routine your family can keep

Ask for the full member schedule, equipment requirements and membership options. A parent or guardian should arrange the introductory visit and share relevant participation needs directly with the academy.
