WHAT YOU WILL PRACTICE
LEARN POSITION BEFORE SUBMISSION.
Submission grappling develops control, escapes and submissions through leverage and movement. Understanding your position helps you decide whether to stabilize, escape or work toward a submission. It is a different technical focus from striking classes.
Wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills are taught within Submission Grappling. MMA connects striking with takedowns and ground skills. Ask the academy which program fits your goals.
